My relationship goes back to nearly 2000 with two of the partners of Caprinae. I have hunted seven weeks with Riza Guzluk in Pakistan. I must say, that i could never have been in a better care than with Riza. We have been in very tricky situation many times together, and i always knew i had Riza behind me to help to make thoose extra steps. Again i want to thank him.

I also knew Mehmet Alkan way back, and has helped me with my Trophies and all the paper work that was necessary to have our Trophies exported in a reasonable time. I also hunted with Caprinae, and again all the arrangement, and professionalism helped me a great deal to get the best animal possible.

I wish Caprinae staff all best in the future. They work hard to get where they are.

Over the past five years I have hunted with Riza and Mehmet of Caprinae Safaris three times. The first was in Azerbaijan for Tur, the second time was in Turkey for Bezoar Ibex, and the third time was in Mongolia for Altai Ibex and Gobi Ibex. On each trip Caprinae Safaris provided a quality hunting experience that exceeded my expectations on all aspects of the hunt. They are truly a professional organization for all aspects of the hunt. Each trip required a lot of hard work, but, the rewards were worth it. I am now pleased to call them my good friends. My only regret is that I booked a Marco Polo hunt with a different company.  Just wanted to let you and Mehmet know how much I enjoyed my hunt with you and your crew in Azerbaijan for the Dagestan tur. This was without a doubt the most spectacular mountain scenery of any of the mountain hunts I have been on so far. You somehow made this all work out . Arrival to another country with no rifle is always a challenge- you were able to borrow a very high quality mountain rifle from a local businessman. Unfortunately, you couldn't change the weather which had us "socked in" the entire hunt. But we hunted diligently and got a break one day when we spotted two tur from camp. After a four hour hike, we got up to where we had spotted them and then had to wait for the cloud cover to lift. We got a lucky break and I was able to take the larger of the two. This was just an incredible experience for me. Your entire crew worked so hard to make this one of my most enjoyable hunts. Thank you for helping me in my quest for the Triple Slam. I'm looking forward to our hunt in Pakistan for the Himalayan ibex!

I first met Riza and Mehmet while hunting bezoar ibex with Shikar. I was so impressed with them that when they formed Caprinae Safaris the following year I scheduled my next hunt in Turkey with them. I've hunted bezoar ibex and mid eastern red deer with them in Turkey and Carpathian chamois in Romania. On two of these occasions Riza was my guide. Not only is he an excellent hunter, but he is an easy going guy and a real joy to be with in the field. Their organization attends to every detail of your hunting adventure. Both of these gentlemen are among my special friends.
